We are HuntingForThompson.com and we thank you for your interest in being a contributing writer. In honor of the late Hunter S. Thompson, our goal is to be a platform for socio/political commentary, musings, and general observations; from politics to advertising, to social engineering and disenfranchisement. We may lean Left, but without a Right now and then, we’d just be going around in circles. So we invite all to the platform.
Our mission is to provoke thought and conversation, to incite and provide insight, and to offer a platform for those who just aren’t comfortable with the status quo. We are looking for people who have something to say and can say it in a way that others will want to read, even if the reader disagrees . . . especially if the reader disagrees! After all, anyone can preach to the choir.
As compensation, HuntingForThompson.com will promote its writers (and your works) using various marketing strategies, offer a “last set of eyes service” for submitted works, participation in our forthcoming podcasts, and will provide free of charge this robust, secure platform and its staff and resources. Some select writers will be provided MSO365 products and services (including Skype for Business), a huntingforthompson.com or .net domain-based email address, and graphic design/editing services, all of which will act as compensation for contract writers. When HuntingForThompson.com becomes profitable, royalties will be paid. A royalty paradigm is currently being developed.
If this sounds good to you, then we want to hear from you! It would be our sacred honor to work with you, to publish your thoughts and creativity. One rule: legal names, or legally protected pseudonyms, must be used as the byline. No submission will be rejected due to subject matter, but we will fact check and we may require reliable and trusted sources to be cited.
You will be safe within HuntingForThompson.com’s undisclosed bunker. We don’t allow trolls, no flames herein. Here, all points of view are allowed to travel cyberspace unencumbered by reactionary hate, or knee-jerk diatribes. Nope. We’ll have none of that. That said, anyone may submit a cognitive response to any article on HuntingForThompson.com, and on its merits we may publish it.
Responses to articles must follow one additional rule: There will be no attacking of the author—no easy road here. If an author’s response wants to tackle the subject matter of an article and offer a counterpoint view, then we can’t wait to read that and publish it.
To get started, fire off an email to us using our writer recruitment form and include your telephonic information. We will reach out to everyone who reaches out to us. We will need to verify your identity and will discuss the options for that at the appropriate time.
Thank you—and write on . . . power to the people.
